It’s been a busy few months for me (Beth!) here at Claws Out and it’s not about to slow down anytime soon…
My first announcement is regarding the amazing team from the Campaign Against Canned Hunting (CACH). CACH have recently opened the Karoo Wildlife Centre in the Klein Karoo, South Africa. This amazing centre will be home to orphaned, rescued or injured animals and will make a huge difference to the local wildlife.
So where do I come in? Well…CACH have been hard at work continuously to try and make a difference to the future of our lions and their work is something I’ve admired from the beginning of my campaigning. They work so hard and the Karoo Wildlife Centre is another project to add to their ‘to do’ list which is why I decided to help. I made it my mission to help them raise some extra money which will be used for:
- Camps to house animals
- Volunteer accommodation
- Medical facilities
- Renewable energy (wind & solar)
- Paying off the cost of the land in full
I am therefore SO excited to announce that Claws Out will have our first run of t-shirts on sale from today here! The amazing design was done by Shannon Rose Lane and I really hope people love it as much as I do.
The t-shirts will cost £12 (worldwide shipping available) and a limited number are on sale. ALL funds raised from the sale of the t-shirts will be donated directly to CACH and the Karoo Wildlife Centre so I would love if everyone could dig deep and help such an amazing organisation, while supporting Claws Out!
But it doesn’t stop there! I have also put together a fundraising night in London to raise some extra money for the centre. The evening will consist of live music featuring Evarose, Big Sixes, Jim Caesar, The Running Guns and Kralc Life! Tickets are only £5.00 and available here so please show your support for Claws Out and CACH and come along!
I will hopefully have another big announcement to confirm in the next couple of weeks so keep your eyes peeled!!
